Helix1 is made up of Aodhan O'Reilly (guitar, vocals) and Allan Mednard (Drums). The band formed in New York City in early 2012 and have been playing around the city's club and DIY scene since. They released a self recorded EP in summer 2012 and have already begun work on their second. Their sound incorporates ambient loops, noisy guitars, live and sampled drums and various electronics to create an entirely distinct and new approach to the 2 piece dynamic.

Early 2013 will see the release of their debut LP and their first East Coast tour.
